Yes, I am familiar with the area. My son lives in Belgium now. He is in the US Air Force but stationed at a Belgium Air Base. He loves living in Europe but that is not surprising. He spent a large portion of his childhood living in Germany instead of in the US.

 

[Lammerspeil]

I was near your Aachen area when I was bought 8 or 9. We went to a theme park called PhantasiaLand. I first I thought is was in Koln but after serching on the net I found it was in Bruhl which is near Koln. My mom is from a town south east of Frankfurt. The town is Kleinkrotzenburg. My god parnets are from Lammerspiel.

Hope the weather turns for the better to harvest your crops.

something about the local history of Lammerspiel. I've always been curios about
the place, as it is named after my ancestors.
