Photobucket and anti virus

I tried to post some photos today. I did a search on the forum and saw posts that many use Photobucket.

I signed up, and Photobucket seems to have some bogus spyware antivirus link it keeps trying to run this antivirus program. I couldn't dismiss the window, and I'm about to give up on photobucket.

Have others run into this?

Do you have "Block pop-up windows" selected ?
I also have a java blocker running also, but doubt that has anything to do with it.

Maybe it's not coming from PB ?

Yeah, popups are blocked. It's not a popup though, the site actually redirects to this other antivirus site.

Interesting thing is, I just tried to log in to Photobucket again, and this time I did not get the redirection and it seemed to work ok.

Not sure what's going on... First time login to Photobucket maybe? I opened two different accounts today and the same thing happened each time. Now the second time I log in it seems ok.

4runner I got the same thing earlier. It's Antivirus 2009 and its a rouge trojan virus. It redirects to a new window that makes you think its scanning your computer and then tells you your infected in order to get you to purchase it. It's a PITA to remove if you do accidentally download it. My avast software caught it luckily. I'm not getting it now so I'm assuming photobucket discovered it and got it removed from thier servers.
