This is a photo of a rolling platform I made for a six ft tiller that was way too heavy (1100? lbs) for me to hook up. I used a 2X4 framework covered with OSB and used 5" Harbor Freight wheels. There are some wheels under in the middle as well. It works great on a smooth floor if you add more grease to the needle bearings. It's still heavy and steers like a barge.

I use the tiller to bury sweet corn residue with a Kubota L4300 and it does a great job. Also made rollers for a six ft Brillion seeder and even my 60 gallon sprayer because it makes hookup so easy.

Good platform. I've my old JD M soil ripper stored on an old pallet. The pallet boards are a bending over time. Except for my back blade that's stored on 1 bys outside, I store all my implements on platforms with castors underneath. I've found out that you have to use steel wheeled castors. Most implements are too heavy for plastic-wheeled castors. They just don't last. Well, the light weight McKissic has tolerated plastic wheeled ones so far. Had to add one in the middle to keep its platform from sagging.

Thank you RalphVa----The HF castors I used are cast iron--I think with a rubber pad--and rated for 250 or 350 lbs each. I tried fewer wheels but it didn't roll or was able to handle the load so I kept adding wheels until it worked. I think I used 13 5" wheels and they were $3.50 each on sale. Adding extra grease to the needle bearings helped.
I actually have room to store equipment in a new barn but the roller works so well I kept it where it is. I can hook that monster up fast and roll it into a corner for the 11 1/2 months I DON'T use it.
Got the idea from guys on this board so thank you .
