PHD for 2210

   / PHD for 2210 #11
I've got the Greenline EM5500 PHD for my 4600. Although the 4600 is bigger than the 2210, the Greenline (it's actually yellow, but I'm going to paint it green this fall) can use different size augers and I got the 12" unit for my perimeter fencing. I'm digging over 150 holes for the fence (3/4's done now) and other than a few shear pins (**** rocks), we've gone through most everything with it and not had any problems. I usually have the tractor running at idle when I'm digging as there is plenty of power to handle things. One thing I've noticed though about using the 3-pt PHD is that you need to sometimes dig a little starter hole to get things going as the grass will bind a bit, but other than that it goes fine.

The Greenline is a bit more than the Speeco, but since the warranty is honored through my Deere dealer I figured an extra $100 was worth it. We just don't have enough TSC's up here in MN....
