Perkins 1104D-44T?

I have a Landini Rex 90F with the 1104D-44T Perkins engine, rated for something like 88 HP. There are two other tractors by Landini using this same engine, the 100 Rex rated at 92 HP and the 105 Rex rated at 99HP. Does anybody know what they did to get these different numbers? I'm guessing they turned up the fuel a little bit more. All the other tractor specs are identical for these three models, gearing, tires, weights etc. so I'm guessing its got to be fuel related.
Anybody know for sure?
If it is fuel, how would one go about adjusting the injector pump to get a few more ponies out of this engine. I'm not interested in hot rodding it only getting up to the 99 HP that Perkins rates this engine at on its website.

That engine is used in Massey's from 60 to 100+ hp. There are different pistons in the higher models, possibly other changes. The highest hp Massey has an intercooler as well.

You can adjust the pump, there are guides on the internet to do it, but it is easy to mess up. Also, remember the higher the hp the shorter the engine life and higher the fuel consumption.

scorpio the fuel systems on these units were generally lucas/cav some possibly had a bosch fuel system. if you can find a local diesel injection pump rebuilder he can either set it up more or possibly tell you how as posted before a few minor adjustments in these system that are wrong can spell total disaster not only for injection pump but a runaway motor is bad. i think i have a book at work that list most injector builders in the usa if you need can call me at 800-303-3170 and i will find you a number close to you.
