I've burned about 20 gallons of diesel, but sure been appreciateing my glow plugs lately. Ooppss that's a Deutz /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Regardless, "hats off" to you for checking in, no doubt the Robin owners appreciate it. And the rest of can always stand to learn a few tricks anyway. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

This has been an ongoing quest to remedy, since you've been not checking for awhile you may not have seen this thread: The original thread

It's fixed now but as the fuel problem was causing the Robin engine to run hot because of PT's design, it may be something you ought to know, whether or not you think it should be pursued.

You sure about that? I don't think Deutz uses glow plugs.

Great observation! Actually, it's an intake preheating coil; but I've found that causes more confusion than just using "glowplugs" as a misnomer. I also often say air-cooled when oil cooled is more appropriate.
