that's interesting, six dogs -- it was for sale on saturday, when i saw it -- and i'm not sure me calling him back makes sense, since i'm no longer in the market for it!!

I'm just at odds somehow with the whole machine / price.

While it's a great machine, with the Curtis cab I feel it's overpriced.

Sort of like for $24K, I should be getting a factory cab, or a bucket, or something.

I don't know, maybe I'm just not appreciating all the machine has to offer.

36hp is a lot, but I don't know how it uses all those 36 horses compared to a 26hp machine -- oddly felt the same as my b2400 when test-driven.

I've never owned a F but I've read about them. One nice thing is the deck lifts up so you can clean it, sharpen the blades. I also think they mow nice since the decks out front with out tires mashing down the grass like a mid mount mower does. 4 Wheel drive also so it would do well on hills.

What I found, in reality, is that the deck flips up after a lot of work -- disconnecting the drive shaft, disengaging the rear wheels, and then manually pulling up the deck yourself. It just wasn't as ideal as I envisioned it.

Also, with the deck out front, I found it added (obviously) to the unit's length -- making dead-nuts turns, like I did with my zero-turn in the past, un-doable.

Finally, it's not a full time AWD -- more like on-demand -- like a Honda CR-V.

That's all. Nothing horrible, but still at $24K, a lot of coin.

it's a curtis supplied to dealers as a kubota option. by that, i mean it has a "kubota" script on the front glass. other than that, it's 100% dead-nuts dealer-installed curtis.

with the doors off in summer, i found grass from the mower sticking to the headliner, and dust accumulating on the windshield, leading to poor visibility.

again, nothing horrible, but also, nothing i want to spend $24K to adopt.

I'm thinking that some of the issues you describe are the reason he's selling it, or trying to.
