I have a pequea c-5 champion chipper that keeps clogging. Since it sucks in the wood so fast it's hard to stop it once it clogs in the chute. I've had to take the chute apart to unclog it 3 times in my first day of use- any advice on what I'm doing wrong- feeding too fast? I've adjusted it according to the manual but no luck.

This may not apply but it’s worth checking.
I had the same problem with my new Jinma chipper and it turned out to be an adjustment issue. The blade to anvil clearance was set to nearly a quarter of an inch! Once set per the manuals recommended .010 to .030 inch the chipper has worked great for the last two years.
