Forks Payne's forks

Does anybody out there with the light duty Payne's forks have a problem with them not having the "backrest" like other forks have? Just wondering if that is an issue. I'm comparing the Payne's forks with the Sundown/Gearmore forks and looking for some user opinions. Thanks!

I was concerned about not having backstops. I bought a set of the Payne PF800 "Special" forks in April 2007 for $350 including shipping. Payne added the backstop sockets to the standard PF800s for me. I had to place the order over the telephone and identify it as "Special."

I found the forks to move sideways more than I liked, so I bought a PFSB8 Stabilizer in April 2008 for $135 including shipping.

I have been satisfied with the Payne forks on my Kubota B7500HSD.
