Several years ago, we had just rebuilt the rear suspension on a frameless dump trailer. The driver took it out for the first time and about 8 blocks away he tore the bed off the tractor. His power take off lever was one that you pushed down to engage. It must have vibrated down and engage the pto and raised the bed. Didn't hurt the overpass at all.

A rental company here was taking a 300 Komatsu excasvator back to the dealership after trying it out, they had not taken my warning on what hapens when you dont swing the cabaround facing backards and foldin the boom all the way down well the trucker did a 70 to 0 mph stop on the interstate ruined the upper structure of the excavator tore fith wheel off the truck and the underpass had to be repaired.
Ive also seen dumptrailers left in gear and the beds raise to take out the most they can took me 2 days to remove all the cable from the tandem truck axles. But one of the most tragic accidents here was some wannabe loggers bought out a log equipment sale, on the way home they forgot to measure the top of the prentice knuckle booms and the other partener was driving a new ford truck escorting the knuckle boom, The truck driver hit an underpass at a high rate of speed breaking the upper sstructure off the swing bearings onto the new pickup killing the escort instanly.
