Thats scary stuff..who or what is the biggest advocate for our rights to own animals and keep animals as pets ?? Is there a national organization that supports our rights for animal ownership ???IE: As a gun owner I have the NRA in my corner.

That's exactly what I meant when I said the Humane Society had lost all credibility and have been hijacked by radicals. I don't think the average person understands what the HSUS really stands for. If anyone is in doubt, visit the Humane Society web site and read the legislation section and the articles. I find it alarming. They're capitalizing on the peoples lack of knowledge and confusion about the name.

Sure! We can't protect our children from predators, but we will pass laws to protect animals. What a waste of legislation and my tax paying dollars. I love animals, but we need to fix people problems first.
