Mahindra 4500 4WD w/FEL, and Scotts S2048 lawn tractor
Has anyone had a problem mounting the Pat's Easy Change System to their Mahindra tractor? I ordered the Cat 2 size since my lift arms are Cat 2.

My Mahindra is a 2004 4500 4WD. The lift arms are not perfectly straight but rather have about a 3 to 5 degree inside bend in the last 4 inches of the arm where the ball is located. This bend appears to be the problem. I am unable to push the main pin through both sides of the the Easy Change System. The offset is about 1/16".

I called Greenwell Mfg. and spoke to a very sweet and helpful young lady named Vickie. She explained that she hasn't heard of any problems with Mahindras but apparenlty there are mounting problems with a model of JD and one of Montana. She is having a new set made for me and will send them out today.

I would like to hear from anyone having this problem and what you did to solve it.

I would think about a 1/16" of grinding on the easy change would solve the problem.

If you had removed .02 from the lift arm, from the hole in the lift arm, from Pats, and from the pin, it would all fit together and have some play left over. But it does not matter much unless the new set is the same way. A grinder and some sanding cloth, maybe a little flapper sanding wheel can go a long way.
