Re: Pat\'s Easy Change System for bx 23
I think the Pat's system is well worth the money. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
I have a rear blade, rake, and tiller, and there have been numerous instances where I've switched between all 3 implements in a single day. Before I got the Pat's system, switching was a real pain, and I'd end up pulling all sorts of 3ph pins to make the change out easier. With the Pat's system, changing implements is done in less than half the time, and I don't work up a sweat doing it anymore.
Another big plus is that the Pat's system allows the 3ph on our smaller SubCUT's to lift the implements higher because it moves the pin hookup out a few more inches. It allowed my machine to lift my rake and rear blade twice as high (with the same top link length) as before the Pat's system was installed. I've got a few pics in my link below that show the rear blade attached right after installing the Pat's system.
When I upgrade to a larger Compact tractor, the Pat's system is coming off the SubCompact and going onto the Compact, no matter how many 3ph bells and whistles the new machine has to make hookup easier.
Oh yeah, I disconnected a post hole digger to my neighbor's
BX22 this summer, and it was a freakin' pain in the neck, and took a while. He complained that hookup was as big a pain in the neck. The Pat's system would have made it much, much quicker and easier.
