Pats Easy Change Spacers?

I bought the Pats Easy Change system for use on my 2710. I am having a little issue with the spacers. Anyone installed this on a 2710 yet? It seems that only the large spacer will fit under the hitch. Has anyone else been able to get both spacers installed ?(by both I mean a thin and a thick one.) Or are both even needed? With just the thick spacer, there seems to be a lot of play (up and down) in the hitch.

I had the same thoughts of using both. Only one would fit with my lift arms, but once you tighten them down with the U clamp, it seems fine. Didn't snow after I bought them, nor have I been able to get out and mow.........too wet. So, I haven't really been able to try them out.
