Buying Advice Parts availability

I've got a 1982 John deere that I'm being told they don't make parts for anymore. I'm looking to get out of this tractor but I don't want to make the same mistake again and buy a tractor that will quickly have parts becoming not available.

How many years to manufacturers typically produce parts for?

I'm looking at a 2001 kioti, how long would parts be available for?

Generally its 10 years after the end of the production run. Then they move on to something else.. but generally speaking, they only support a specific product for 10 years.
What parts are u looking for.??
