Particle Board Repair

VERY CURIOUS, how did this work out for you? THE SAME THING happened to me today .... I need to fix for a party this weekend!! I`m trying a "fix-it" putty (hard as steel type repair-all, including wood supposedly). BOTH brackets were ripped out when transporting it with a trailer....(wind forces) THANKS!

Eddie's solution sounds good to me too. I had a similar problem, but on a folding table. As I recall, I patched the holes, and clamped the bracked to the table top; drilled new holes in the bracket and then inserted screws into the new holes.
