Lehman's is great. We've been ordering from that catalog for years. The funny part is that here in the Chicago suburbs you can go to the antique stores and see "Antiques" in amazing condidtion and selling for a great deal of money which are readily available from Lehman's for one tenth the price.

I live in NE Ohio and Lehmans truely is a great place. They are not selling yuppy "antiques"...they are selling useful products to the people that USE them daily. Amazing place isn't it!?! Oh, they will still sell to you if you drive an SUV instead of a HUV (horse utility vehicle).

Lehman has some cheap chineese knock offs to keep the tourist on the tour busses happy, but they carry some nice items. The who area is great place to visit. Even better if you get off the state routes and find a township road to follow. Wonderfull views. We went up just for a long day's drive but a neighbor found out and ask me to stop and pickup his oak pegs he ordered a month ago. Pegs for his new post/beam house he is putting up this summer.

You can also find great buys on Amish-made furniture in the area. Some is custom-made and some is batch-made, but craftsmanship is second to none.

The Amish-made furniture has become less and less of a deal in the last 10 years. It use to be a good place to get some nice deals on wood furniture, but now "Amish-made furniture" means expensive furniture and if your not buying it from an amish shop your most likey getting Amish inspired or menonite made products
