Parking lot expansion....

Hey Pack!

Posting some pics of my parking lot expansion work. Our church moved to this property in April and we need to expand our gravel parking lot. We'll be putting down construction fabric so we won't need the large base rocks. Used the KKII tiller to "cut" the ground and then started scooping out the dirt. This is my progress after the 2nd evening of working on it in (3 hrs each night). Not perfect but not bad either. Still some work to do but thought you would enjoy the pics:dance1:

Looks like you are making good progress and I trust having fun doing it.

What are you doing with all that nice dirt? How many yards of gravel will you use to complete the project?

When you are setting in church you can think about all the added parking you have helped make available.

Yes, I did have some fun "working"!

In the picture to the left, you can see some of the dirt from that area...I got tired of running across property to dump it so I just put it there for now. I'll spread it out later.....it takes too much time to do that when I have limited day light and time in the evenings. The property used to be a hog farm a long time ago so the dirt makes some really nice top soil!!!

The dirt from the section straight ahead (from the seat view) was spread into several low areas. We have 7.8 acres.

We are planning on putting down approx 180 tons of gravel.......about 4" thick? I'll take more photos as we progress and finish up.

We've been blessed w/ this tractor so we definitely try to give back and put it to good use!
