Parking light on Kioti CK30 tractor remains on

I apologize if this has already been discussed on this forum, but I wasn't able to find the thread. I released the parking brake on my Kioti CK30 tractor and the light on the dash remained on. I checked to make sure the brakes are set correctly and all is well. I also checked any connections under the tractor and everything is fine there, too. The brakes work fine when I release the parking brake only the light remains on. Does anyone have any suggestions what may be causing this, or how to fix it?

I have had the same problem. Under the right side of the dash, say around knee high when sitting in the seat, there is a small micro switch. Follow the brake rod up from the petal.
I have replaced it, it's small and in a tight place but not overly hard to do.

As Mousefield mentioned, that micro switch either is bad or in my case, the linkage from the parking brake lever to activate the switch was messed up. My daughter has since learned what not to do. Not hard to see how it works and adjust if needed but not much room to work.

Thanks everyone. I won't be able to do anything until next weekend at the earliest. The weather turned nasty this afternoon here in Vermont (thunderstorms) and by the time I get home from work Mon-Fri there really isn't much time to work on it.

Just a quick update that I adjusted the brakes and the light no longer remains on. An yes, the brakes work fine. Thanks for all your assistance a sorry for the delay posting this.
