Park brake on Ford 4000 tractor

Anyone fixed up the park brake on Fore 4000? way to low and hard to reach for this old Man

Can use a lock rod/handle from a 30 series 3 cylinder all purpose Ford (3930, 4630, etc). There is a bracket you will need as well. Price and availability may dictate you get these parts from salvage.

+1 on Rick's comment. My 3000 is as your 4000 but the 3910 is as Rick mentioned. Wayyyyyy easier to reach and works much better in locking the brake.....course part of that is the hour differences in the two tractors, the 3000 is not a spring chicken.

All States Ag. Parts probably has the whole footrest assembly with brake handle, bracket, pedals and all which may be an equitable solution.
