I've been having no luck either. Craigslist has more "Pallet forks wanted" listings than "Pallet forks for sale." Local guy down here wants $750 for used... that's more than brand new!!! Guy in upstate NY wanted $550 via eBay... I was tempted.

I've got to get down to Woodbury & Coastal in Southern CT again sometime soon. I'll likely swallow hard and pickup some pallet forks then.

I knew I should have purchased more when I bought mine. I bought mine a couple of years ago for $400 shipped to a trucking terminal very close by.

48" long, 4,000lb with quick attach, made by Blue Diamond. They have seen quite a bit of use from, trees, boulders, pallets, and autos. Never have bent, and would buy again.

I bought them on ebay, but I cannot remember the seller. He was in New York.

I bought a small skid steer a couple of months ago & added pallet forks from a local construction auction house. $450. Funny thing was a beat up used set sold next for the same price.

They look to be cheap china made (plate tilt angle is incorrect) 3K lbs & unbranded other than the weight rating stamped on the fork tines. They work well as my ss is 1200 lb lift rating with a 2400 tipping load.

I have the QA Bradco forks for my Kubota 5030 (853 FEL)

They are one of my most used attachments; good strong durable and quality built.
I'm looking for good quality forks that will attach to my 853 FEL. I have a L2232 quick attachment system. Do you know if the QA will work with the L2232?

After some research, one thing I personally wouldn't buy in a million years at any price is a set of Chinese pallet forks... but I suppose if your tractor can't lift much weight anyway and you never intend to use them on anything more powerful... what the heck?

I think you hit it. Tractors and skid steers come and go. However - once you have pallet forks - I can't see any reason to get rid of them. They are just so **** useful. With no parts to wear out - why get rid of a set that you already own?

I ran into a "now" need, broke down and broke out the check book.
$750 for new Bradco 48 inch 4,000 lb rating. In Massataxland, but I was able to negotiate to $750 with tax, so they wrote it up as $714.something - 1.05 times which was $750.

Yeah, I like 'em (-:

You might be shocked at how many chinese forks are mounted on brand name fork frames...

Anyway, here is a pix of the forks after digging out a horse drawn steel wheel wagon. Pried it out of the dirt, busted up tree roots, & none the worse for wear.

Second pix is another & stronger set of forks toting a Buick.

Third pix is forks repairing a John Deere.

I would agree overloading a tool is bad practice.

Check with United Rental if you have one in your area. I bought my Bradco forlks there brand new still on the pallet they were $175 cheaper than anyone else around here and within 10 miles. I find them sometimes to be a good source for new attachments and power tools. They are nation wide and have strong buying power.
