Pallet Forks from Dick\'s Agri Supply - Comments?

Anyone purchased a fork pallet attachment from Dick's Agri Supply? They are a tad higher that Markham's but Markham's out of stock on forks right now.

I purchased a couple of 47" hay spears from Dick's and I'm happy with them, but they have been real slow in answering my messages.

Sure not impressed with the total lack of a location ('USA' is just a tad broad!) or the fact that he is so eager to pass on the UPS shipping cost to you (bad wording there...) - without any clue as to what it would be! It is pretty easy to include a shipping cost calculator these days, or let us at least figure out a ball-park figure ourselves if he would include weight & his location.

Looks nice in the picture, but salesmanship could use some work....

I have came across their ebay items… I would not consider bidding as they appear to hide their location. They are not in a hurry to respond to questions… That is usually an indicator that they have no location, (drop shipper), or they want to be difficult to locate, or are planning to gouge you on shipping & handling. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

In any case … You know where Markham welding is located and how to get an answer from them…

I don’t have anything from Markham but from what I have read on this forum I would not hesitate ordering from them.

My forks come from Piranha they are heavy duty well made, could have been just a little better in alignment on the quick attach assembly, but was not that much off just a little tight…. You can see their forks at http://24.199.170.181:82/forks.htm

They didn't rip me on the shipping for the hay spears, but on the pallet fork, I've left messages all week for them along with a couple of emails.

Perhaps they are just busy with year-end inventory, but you guys are right. Their location vagueness, lack in product specifics in the ad and less than steller customer response adds up to no deal.

I guess I'll wait for Markham's to get their shipments in.

BTW, Piranha only sells skid steer type forks. I need JD 500 QA.

i recently got my pallet forks from Markam and i had to wait but when they were in they delivered on time just lik they sayd they would i am very happy whith them. there price is alot less than jds.
