Are there any percieved drawbacks of using a 3 point hitch pallet fork attachment on a FEL by attaching it to the FEL using a HF/Speeco/JD Imatch or similar brand quick hitch that is welded to a quicktach/universal plate? Would this approach be any less disireable than a standard pallet fork attachment designed to attach to the FEL? It seems to me that if there is no discernable difference, everything else being equal, it would be valuable to have the option of attaching the 3 point hitch pallet mover attachment to either the front OR rear of the tractor. I have seen several posts where a 3 point hitch boom pole was attached to the FEL but haven't read where this same approach was used for a pallet fork attachment. Am I overlooking something? Thank you in advance for your anticipated responses.

There have been a few people I remember who have done this. I can't see any reason not to have the versatility...
