I needed to move some bricks the other day and since I don't have pallet forks I decided to throw this together. I think the pictures show it better than I can explain it. It is made to be the width of the bucket so that it just fits in and won't move around but is beveled to make it easy to scoup up when attaching. I has been handy to move all kinds of things around. I need to paint it or something to protect it from the weather but for now it sits in my shed.

Looks good and a handy attachment too. Paint it Kubota Orange and you set.

Nice setup... thanks for the pictures.

Where does everyone buy their chain, and what size should I be looking for?

Tks,

you can buy chain just about everywhere, tsc, tractor dealers etc. and what size depends on what you need it for!

I think I used 5/16" chain on this. I normally use 3/8" for most other things. I got the chain at a local hardware store.

I like 5/16 chain. Strong enough to do about anything with the 30 - 40 hp tractor and not too heavy to handle. I just happened to be in HD today and looking for chain and they have a good selection and about Any hardware store or farm supply is going to have chain.

Thats a handy thing to have around SLM. It looks like it would be easy to get on and off your FEL and its plenty rugged to handle most jobs too. Thanks for posting.

Nice platform, but I'd add some bracing in the back like this.

It will keep the back of the platform from sliding up the back of the bucket.

You can slip a pallet on these or lay a piece of plywood on them and into the bucket and have pretty much what you have.
