Painting tractor

Ok so I want to paint my fx28.
first does anyone carry new stickers for the 28, I have not seen anything close. I would like all the warnings and UFO stuff. It seems like this tractor is covered with stickers compared to my ym2000. also I want to use my small spray gun, has anyone bought paint before, what I mean is how did you match the color.

When I painted my 1602D, I used late model Ford Ranger red, it's a tiny bit darker and less orange than the original Yanmar paint, but I liked the color. If you're going to repaint all the sheetmetal, does it really matter if it's an exact color match to the original? Reason I ask is that this paint is available anywhere and would not have to be mixed up special, also you can buy touch up tubes for the odd nick or scratch, or to coat the edges where you might drill a hole or something..........

that's a good point. I've restore a couple old mopar muscle cars and it's just my mind set to do it as original. If I can't get the correct stickers it won't matter anyway. Maybe I'll just paint it plumb crazy (purple).

I have a couple sets of those "rainbow" decals left that a local sign shop made for us a few years ago. They look pretty good. I think they cost us about $65 per set to make. May be cheaper now since they have a new machine that just prints the design, laminates it, and then cuts it out. You can also take digital pictures of your decals and take them to a local sign shop to get reproduced. Just an idea.

LOL...It posseses a mean and nasty 'eat you for lunch' stance with those tires and weights.

A couple months back I finely got a full set of teeth (weights) for the front end, sure makes a differance keeping the front end down. I have to say the future for the little beast is on shakey ground deponding what the Cub & Yanmar duo comes out with...may be time to sell it????
