8 inches of fresh powder on a 12" base, 19 degrees and no wind. I feel like I'm giving a ski report.
It is warming a little, this is the first time it's been this close to 20 degrees since Christmas. I've only seen above freezing temperatures on 3 days since the first of December.

Got above freezing today for a while. 6 inch base with 5 inches new snow and about 3/8" new ice/freezing rain.
Insterste 84 has temporary closers at a couple of locations in the columbia river gorge. As well as one closure on the Washington side on highway 14.
I84 east and west bound closed over Deadman Pass, which is about 12 miles east of Pendleton Oregon.
All closures due to temporary extreme weather conditions and or trucks blocking lanes.
Many workers were fired from state crews in both Oregon and Washington due to not wanting to get the vaccine. Now have smaller crews with replacement workers clearing snow on the roads. Not working very well, hope they get the kinks worked out soon.

Enjoy this set of storms. They may be the last ones for a while. I just saw a long range projection of a huge high developing. Drought phase 2. I hope they're filling those reservoirs as fast as they can. Of course that's long range, but it would be a nightmare if it happens.

Snowing here, just plowed another 4” from overnight. But temps warming up a bit. Hope it doesnt rain

Snow is gone here now . . . we got about 6" over the snow events here but has warmed up to the mid 40's daytime and high 30's at night.
