I have no idea how much snow I got in the last day or so, it all went sideways and piled up across my driveway about 36" deep buy 30 feet or more. I'll know where not to park next year
. Of course my tractor is down with a bad starter and a new one is on order, but the driveway will have to be cleared first before UPS can get here Of course that will be pretty hard to do without a tractor as it is 3/4s of a mile just to get to the private road. My neighbor just had surgery so he can't help. I guess I'll be doing some shoveling when the winds stop tomorrow. Too cold now, temp is 4 and the winds are 25 to 40 giving me a wind chill near -20

Got back from the drive to Seattle and back just in time. 5 1/2 fell last night.

About 1 inch here, 25mi. NW of Portland, 1100ft altitude.
Power out 4 times yesterday, several minutes each. One 10 minute outage so far today. Light winds all the time. Last week we had 5 inches, more wind, and no outages.

Now 7 3/4" still snowing. 28F Lights flickered like something fell on the power lines and burned through.

14" on the ground at 8 AM, snowed all day, 12" on the ground at 8 PM. They are predicting 6" of powder tonight.
