Just moved from the Puget Sound region and it was quite the quick transition from highs in the 80s and 90s to highs in the high fifties. Does winter give way to spring/summer that quick?

Yes - I see the west side( west of the Cascades) has some heavy flooding. Here in the NE we continue to get sprinkles - almost daily. It snowed, a little, yesterday. Not enough to stick.

So far, this year, - 13.84" of rain.
