Seeders Pacer Aerator Seeder

Anyone out there ever use one of these Pacers? I'm looking for some economical equipment to overseed my lawn. I was wondering how well these work at getting the seeds into the lawn. Any replies or alternatives anyone else may have used would be appreciated. I see the 48" inch model at Agrisupply for just under a thousand.

How about renting a pto slice seeder or a hydro driven walk behind slice seeder? How much sqft are we talking?

I tried the walk behind seeder last year. I was unhappy with the results plus it was like rototilling on rock, really beat me around. As far as renting a pto seeder I've yet to find one locally. If the pacer works good it would pay for itself after a few rentals of the PTO seeder anyway. I have about two acres of lawn.
