I have about 5 acres of horse pasture that I plan on overseeding before it gets too hot here in VA. Anybody know about how much seed I would need? The pasture's good on some places, and about 50% covered in others. I'm buying seed in 50lb sacks from Southern States. I have a flexible tine harrow that I planned to use to scarify the pasture, but will that work or do I need something else? Any help from someone who's done it would be appreciated. Thanks.
