I like to sit and ponder. It helps me to develop a sense of being. Attached is the view while looking out the door.

It is at my hunting camp. A few have suggested that I need to add a rifle rack.

It's a much nicer view than I have, but it also looks painfully cold. Given the choice, I'm gonna take the warm seat without the view over a cold one with a view!!! hahaha

Nice outhouse. Before we built our cabin I made a short stool out of 4x4s and plywood. Cut a hole in the seat and screwed a 5 gallon paint bucket with the bottom cut out to the bottom of the plywood and crowned it with an old toilet seat. I dug a hole behind a bush and set it on top. We used this for several years. My wife hated it and you had to tap it with a stick to make sure there were no wasps or spiders. The view was pretty bad, the privacy was even worse.

I attribute my wife allowing me to build a cabin fully to this contraption. She pretty much thinks of the cabin as an indoor bathroom with a house attached to it.

The rifle rack or at least a scabbard is a must. I can't tell you how many times I've seen game while "relieving" myself. LOL ... usually too late trying to hitch my britches up. Hopefully the outhouse and view is a ways from your camp. In one hunting camp in Montana, we were so scared of Grizzlies we always brought our rifle or at least a pistol to go to the outhouse. It's always nice to have a place to hang them.

Where is the snow?

An outhouse is no adventure at all unless it is 20 degrees with swirling snow outside.
