Hi everyone,

I'm a Forester in Cincinnati Ohio, and I have a Unimog that I am outfitting with a front three point system, and had questions about some of the specs. I am using a lift platform that will have quick hitch links for the lower part of the implement, and wondered what the general width should be of those pieces. I will use CAT ll implements. Any ideas? Thank you.

Sounds like a very interesting project. We had a member (Von, not active much anymore) who posted a complete restoration of a mog a while back. I know he was also a member of a mog forum under the same name. If you can track him down, he may be able to help, or point you in the right direction.

There's a big unimog scene in Europe. You could get Mogs with off-factory 3pt hitch, so it might be worth it to have a look around in places like Welkom bij Unimog, the dutch site to get some ideas how the factory unit looks like.

Cool project. I've got a mog as well, but not an ag unit. For help with the 3-pt, I'd try contacting Kevin Kurkowski (http://www.uniquipag.com/). He seems to be one of the few unimog related businesses that specialize in ag usage. You can find others contacts at the link below.

Good luck.
