Well, you know the rest.
I finally got my G2160 in to go with my L3130 and the dealer took back the B7500 a couple of days ago. Nice. I can't believe how much more power the "lawn" tractor has for cutting grass. I was cutting deeper grass shorter and the engine didn't slow down once. It has a 60" belly mount as opposed to the B7500's 60" RD RFM. Without trying I knocked a little over 1/2 hour off of my mow and once I get a pattern going that will compliment the belly mount, I'm sure it will be more time saved. I couldn't get under the lilac bushes, but the small size allowed me to drive close enough to them that I won't need to trim every time I mow. Very tight turning radius, too. No sinking in on my soft spots, but I did get it stuck once taking it too far down a sort of ditch that I have. Live and learn. Even though it isn't 4WD you would still think they would put a differential lock on them. I looked all over for one before I fired up the 3130.
Of course it's not as much fun sitting on the 2160, but the smooth ride, quieter engine and mower, speed and power over the 7500 more than make up for the small size.
So when's that darn grass going to grow again. It seemed like just a week ago we were mowing every 4 days.
