well..it arrived today..and all I can say is wow..I am throughly impressed..I havent dug with it or anything YET..but its amazing how much nicer it is the our L48.

The thumb attachment I can see as being very handy, the creep mode is awesome flat deck is cool the hydrostatic is a major improvement over our older tractors..operates just like a regular size backhoe..I cannot wait till we need to use it! The new 84" bucket is HUGEEEE compared to our L48 also..its not even in the same ballpark as our old L48..not even fair to compare them.

here are some pictures:

Congratulations. Would love to see some action shots. I have an L39 and love it. I'm going to test the M59 out here in a week or 2. This may be a little dangerous as I have no need to upgrade. Only thing I'd really like is more reach on the hoe. Kinda wish they would have an extenda-hoe in a small tlb. I guess there would be some balance issues and this would not be major need of most purchasers but reaching down into a large creek I could really use a few more feet. Anyway - great looking machine. May have some more questions for you down the road.

as soon as we have something to do..LOL I will be sure to get some pics. I agree 100% on the extendable boom..that one thing that I wish the bota TLBs had an option of.

one cool option is the creep mode in forward or reverse..its nice not having g to spin the seat to move..or maneuver around to move it foward without spinning the seat, like I had to do on the L48.

I like the trans..you don't adjust the idle..just the gear, then on the column choose fast or slow version.. it also has a stall mode that will come in handy when moving dirt..always seems to stall there...it has alot of nice options I cannot wait to try out.

the backhoe boom lock is very nice..dont have to get off and pull the pin out if your forgot to unlock it after unloading it..the pop up hood is nice too..I could go on and on..

All I can say is they are audacious, awsome, and the ultimate utility TLB on the market today. I in serviced several Komatsu TLB in the late 90s and this machine has them out classed in price and diversity. With a bucket break out force of 7600 lbs there's nothing in its price range for it's ability. And the 5900 lbs loader breakout at its max stress point in the pivot pin is no slacker either. Kubota has really got a machine here for the mid-range construction industry. This machine will last for years with proper maintenance guys. A+++

I am glad the M59 does not have larger front tires, a smaller more heavy duty 4 way front bucket, Lots of remotes, and about 2000 lbs more heft, because if it had those features, I'd really, really want one, especially with the future cab option!

Its a QA, so the smaller heavy duty front bucket is no problem, I'm ordering one - take your pick of which one to get.

I'm getting 3 remotes and front diverter, which should serve. Foaming the tires for close to 2k more weight - I bet it needs it.

For my needs a cab isn't a big deal - I like being outside most of the year. Might get a boat canvas shop to make up a zip on cab for winter use.

Wow, that is a beautiful machine.

Our L-39 is over two years old now with 600 plus hours on the clock and it has been a joy to operate, hope yours is too! :D

After you get used to your lovely new machine and are ready to buy more toys for it, we have a 36" tilting grading bucket that will work on the backhoe. We currently sell them on the KX 91, 121,161 and the U series. we sell so many of them we stock the Kubota Quick Coupler ears, and the buckets - so we can turn them around for shipment most of the time in a week or less - also true for J. Deere, yanmar, CAT, Doosan, Takeuchi etc machines
