Tractor
1951 Ford 8N and 2012 Kubota L4600 FEL
My wife and I purchased our first new tractor today, a L4600 HST with LA764 loader and Ag tires. It will be delivered next week probably Wednesday or Thursday. The buying process was made very easy by the area Kubota salesperson. We found him to be extremely knowledgeable and very professional in dealing with us. We were also very happy with the price negotiated. We now look forward to winter snow removal and firewood hauling on the 80 acre homestead.

Congrats...you're not going to believe the difference an HST makes...remember, if the engine begins to bog down under load, LET UP on the pedal, don't push down on it. Of course, you need to set the throttle for reasonable RPM's as well.

i have the L4400HST which is the version before the L4600. The specs are very similar and if the L4600 is as rock solid as my L4400 has been you will be a happy camper. My tractor didnt make its max performance till it hit 150 hours, I guess it took it that long to get broke in.

The MSRP for the tractor and loader is $28,293. Including the manufacturer's celebration incentive, the dealer's price was approximately 20 percent below MSRP. Was this a average or better than average Kubota deal?

Probably a little better than average for a good deal. A lot of folks don't see anywhere near that kind of discount.

You got a good deal, so enjoy the new machine.
