I have a GC2310 that comes stock with a back-hoe. Therefore, I have 3 hydraulic hoses behind the tractor: 2 that connects together and 1 with a cap, when the back-hoe is removed.

Couldn't I use those for: hydro top link, snow blower chute controller, log splitter, ...? I know I would need remotes but I'm sure it must be doable and I was told differently.

Yes, the hoses are connected to complete the circuit. If you add a valve there, the pressure hose will go to the IN port , and the and the other hose is the return hose. and depending on the valve, you could have several remote outlets. I do the same thing for my log splitter.

Thanks J_J, I had a hunch that you were going to answer this :)

I will do my homework and I may have precise questions to ask. I'm new to hydraulics so I got some catching up to do first.

I'm still surprise that I got a different answer from my dealer. I do believe you no doubt!

Thanks again.

Your dealer sells hoses. J_J doesn't.

I just finshed installing a power beyond kit in my 755 JD compact, Thanks to KENNY D he helped me get mine set up . Its ironic my dealer said the same thing and gave me a bunch of crap about using the constant flow to add another valve , just get one with an open center and one that will handle the GPM rating. Fittings and valves get expensive but there well worth it in the end!

CurlyDave,

Are you saying that he doesn't have a pressure and a return hose back there. If it came mounted with a BH, it would surely would have something back there to supply fluid . So if it is not being used for BH, you reckon it could be used for something else

Max , It looks like you have same setup as my kubota
BX24 with power beyond. One thing I want you to ask your dealer about which I am sure, since you have a power beyond for sure, your other hydralic functions may be also affected when you use OC valve. thing like your 3 pt hitch, mower deck lift can be affected. I am too in process in adding on a single spool valve using BH ports with BH removed. I am planning on adding the cap to a prince valve to have power beyond available so wil need to use all 3 hose connections instead of just OC with 2 ports used.

Hey Radioman, if you ever do so, please let me know! I'm pretty sure we have a very similar setup as you mentioned. I just got a snowblower and I will probably want to add hydraulic controls eventually (but not anytime soon).

Thanks!

Someone please correct me if Im wrong, but is it true that the 3rd hose that goes to the "tank" is only necessary for a valve that has a "float" position on it like a backhoe or a loader does? Therefore it wouldnt need to be hooked up to a logsplitter or similiar valve?

I believe that every return port/hose should be returned to tank/reservoir, because that is the fluid from the work ports when using PB. The third hose, return port, has no other use except to carry expended fluid to the tank.
