I'll be out walking my dog about 5:15 am. Its a toss up between stargazing and skunk patrol. Too bad they are calling for clouds/rain. I guess I watch for skunks tomorrow.

I'll be milking my goats before dawn. I'll try to remember to stick my head out of the milkhouse periodically, though it's supposed to be cloudy with possible showers.

This web site has more info plus some links to photographs. Marshall Space Flight Center has a dual camera setup that can determine height, speed and direction. Imagine 140,000 mph.

140,000 mph! almost as fast as my tractor!

Yes it was raining this morning here anyway, I have been lucky to see a few while living in Colorado, totally mind blowing

Saw 12 meteors and a satellite between 5:15 and 5:45 central time.

Here in NW Ga went up on top of the mountain and laid back on a blanket from 4:30 til around 5........Basically they were from Orion going east and then directly overhead......Perhaps one every 30 seconds to a minute.......little bitty streaks that went perhaps 2 or 3 inches in my field of vision over a second or less........
