Ordered my new RK55SC

Enjoy your new RK55SC (Shuttle) tractor. Despite what some people think, not everyone wants a Hydro. That is why I ordered a Kubota L6050 GST this past Spring. ;)

I do think RK is the best bang for the buck though. I checked out their Specs. on the internet before deciding on the tractor I purchased. However there wasn't an RK dealer anywhere near me or even within a reasonable driving distance.

I just looked over there website, looks to be as rugged as any brand name tractor out there and the pricing looks good, lots of options that are extra on other tractors come standard on the RK. Good luck with it..

I stumbled upon RK tractors going into a store one day about 3-4 weeks ago. Ive wanted to upsize from my 38hp for quite a while, just couldn't pull the trigger on pricing. That all changed when I saw the RK55 sitting there calling my name. After weeks of research, here I am!

Thanks everyone

Haha! I appreciate that. I've got an arena to disc and smooth over to setup barrels for my daughters. Ready to get in the seat and have some fun!

I have a Mahindra so our tractors are brothers, both TYM made. :) Mine has a more established dealer/service network; yours has a lot more options and cost a lot less. TYM's are beefy, very capable tractors, with more weight and power than many other brands of the same HP. I hope you love yours as much as I do mine. Enjoy it, and keep us posted.

GWWT, I thought your Mahindra Max26XL was made completely by Mitsubishi Heavy Equipment in Japan which is an excellent manufacturer.

All I mean is that Mahindra, RK, and TYM tractors are manufactured either in whole or in part by TYM, and like siblings, these tractors seem to share some genes. :)

Yes, it has a Mitsu engine. But Korean FEL. Other components, not sure. Assembled in PA. May vary between models.

Have given up trying to figure this stuff out, but the specs are similar between RK and Mahindra.

TYM makes the 26xx series and E-Max tractors for Mahindra and they made the 25Xx series before that and the 10 series before that. Mahindra a separate company from TYM. Mitsubishi is also subcontracted to make tractors for Mahindra too. Mahindra also makes their own tractors, so it can be difficult to figure out who makes what for Mahindra.

Agreed, at the end of the day when tractors are brothers/cousins go for the best value. That's why I chose RK, Yanmar engine, 8yr powertrain, RK within 15 mins. It just made sense in my situation. Im excited to get in the seat and start working!
