Kioti CK20HST
Just got back from the dealer, he will deliver Monday Afternoon.

I test drove one this AM, went back this afternoon and it was sold already. So I have to wait for them to assemble one.

I might have paid a little more for it, but the mom and pop dealer was very nice. And according to everybodys advice. The dealer and how they treat you is the most important thing with your new Tractor. And these people were great.
So here's the rundown.

CK20HST fel, 6' Rake, Loaded tires and free 50 hr service for 14k

I am in southeastern New Hampshire.

Just for grins the Kubota B7510 equiped the same was 14200 and another 350 for the 50 hr service.

How did I do?

Jim

By all accounts of New England, you did well. Prices there tend to be higher than most other places from what I've seen.

Congratulations on your purchase. I suggest you also get a 5' box blade as soon as you can. You'll find it very useful and versatile.

Thanks John.

I actually have access to a 6' box. So I was hoping if I took it easy on it I could use it.

I was thinking about a 6' blade for the snow. But first things first.

Congratulations on your tractor bearhawk, fine choice.. I dont think your going to be able to use a 6 ft boxblade with the ck20 though.. I use one on my Ck30 but its also quite a bit more powerful.. Perhaps some other ck20 owners can chime in on that for you.. Matt

So Bearhawk, Did you enjoy your new "Kioti" tonight? You had a much later supper than usual! And what a SMILE on your face! Hey, ya know what? I don't have to feel so "guilty" while I'm spending time with the horse, cause you are with the Kioti! Are you going to go out to do a "Kioti" check tonight, while I do a "barn" check?

Love you! You're the best!

It's not likely that the 6' box would cause any damage, but it may just grab too much real estate to use effectively.
I use a 4' and wish I'd gone with a 5' instead, but I think the occasional use of a 6' would be okay.
Just be aware that the added weight and width "could" cause a problem if one side hits a dead end and twists the box hard. I suppose it could twist or break something.
Keep in mind that if you're digging with the rippers and having a hard time, just cut down on the number of rippers to help you get through a tough job.
I see the "widow" has spoken! I hope you both enjoy your respective interests.

That seems like a pretty good price for New England. I got that same quote for just the CK20. (Just tractor)
I got several qoutes on the Kubota 7510 at 13,300. (that included filled tires, hooks welded on bucket, and block heater) Not sure if block heater is usually an extra or not, but that is what they offered when I asked for price.
Sounds to me like you did well.
From everything I've read on the CK20, you are going to
LOVE IT! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
You also said you really like the people where you bought it. THAT alone would have made it worth paying more. (but I think you did well on price).
GOOD LUCK! Please take pics so this envious tractor hunter can see that others dared to pull the trigger! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Well I took KiotiJohn's advice and had my dealer bring a 5' Box Blade with the delivery.

That is the best attachment I have ever used. I don't know how I could have lived without it.

I was a little concerned about just 21 hp with the size of the tractor, but... It was awesome. I did try to keep the smile off my face while I was using it. But I'm sure the wife didn't buy it.

And what a sweet ride with the Hydro. I had rented a Kioti Gear a while back, and the Hydro makes using the loader a joy.

I did get bogged down a little if I grabbed too much with the Box, but just raise it a little and it would pull right on.

My dealer had suggested that if it bogged down to actually let off the pedal a little and it would pull better. I know you just want to mash the pedal, but once you get used to it, the hydro worked great.

You are right it is difficult to run the hydro at first, I am not quite use to mine yet. I was having trouble not pushing the clutch pedal down everytime I stopped. Hopeful that will come in time, this is my first hydro. tractor. I have owned a few shuttle shifts and liked them very much, hope to say the same about the hydro. later...
