ORB fitting question

Can you alignment of this fitting be adjusted? Like can the direction of the JIC connection be adjusted around the radial axis of the orb connection?

Yes, that is one of the purposes of ORB fittings. Put it in whichever direction is required and then snug down the nut.

Yes you can orient an elbow like shown in the picture to a desired position.

Before installing make sure the jam nut is backed off and the O-ring is located towards the top of the area without threads. Screw the fitting in by hand until the O-ring makes contact. Now turn the fitting to the desired position and tighten the jam nut. Intention is to keep the O-ring sealing on the area without threads
