Optional wheels for Gator

I would welcome input from the panel who may have knowledge about how one can purchase an additional set of wheels for a new xuv 825 Gator. I am interested in getting a set of factory aluminum wheels and tires, with the Maxxis bighorns, to have as replacement or switch out wheels for winter. My dealer says that he does not know how to order them as they do not have a part number. Does anyone have further insight here?

Looking at jdparts, they show two different wheels (yellow and silver).
Might be you are looking for the silver? Don't know if this fits your question.

I am actually looking for the 14" black anodized ones with the Maxxis tires. They do have a four digit code assigned on the John Deere website,but I do not know if this is ahn order number or if they are offered without the machine. Seems like they would be. Thanks.

Might be in relation to when Deere ran out of aluminum wheels a short while ago and for a bit could not even get from the factory on a machine. It looks like they are showing a front black but no rear. I would go back to your dealer and ask a parts guy to call an expiditor or open a dtac parts case for the p/n for the rears. I would never get tires from a dealer check with the tire guys on that one just about everyone has access to the maxxis tire these days. They may still be in short supply right now,good luck.

I thought these might be sold as a wheel and tire package. Is this not true?.

Looks like currently no package, there could be one in the future I think. If there is a package it probably would be a tire and wheel combo. Like I posted above there was a shortage on all of these wheels a few months ago when the 825i ordering opened with the option of the larger alloys and the radials. The take rate completly overshadowed what Deere expected and they where not prepared with inventory from their vendor. I am not sure why they did not expect more folks to want radials for a unit that can travel that fast. In our area most folks go with radials even on their 4 wheelers, lots of licensed atv/utv's.

Yes they are. This would be a second wheel set for me. Thought I would pre mount them with tire chains.

Wanted to let those who may have a burning desire to know, that JD DOES have the alloy wheels and tires available for purchase separate from the machine. I bought an extra set of the black anodized for my Gator 825 with the Maxxis Bighorn. I will mount chains on one set as a spare and have ready for those really heavy snows. To this point, despite plowing upwards of 20" three weeks ago, I have not needed chains, but you never know.
