I am getting ready to fab a bunch of extra hydraulic toys for the tractor and because I am too cheap to go to Kubota to buy their couplers I was going to go to the Surplus store (Surplus Center) and set new standards for my quick connects. From my selection it looks like I am going to go with "ball type" quick connects, but I was curious what the difference is between ball and poppet styles and any opinions on pros or cons.
In previous jobs, all we used was 3/4 quick connects that had a flat face on each end.
