LS XR3140HC
I'm about to pull the trigger on the XR3140HC with FEL and ballast in tires. I'll only be using for snow removal and wanted thought from owners.

thanks

Looking at the LS website, I dont see a XR3140HC listed, just the XR3135HC. I might be missing it.

I looked hard at a XR 4155HC, great machine. In the end the dealer (poor support) kept me from buying it. If you have a good dealer I cant see why it would be a bad idea.

As you already have a B2650, you sure you dont want to step up to the 40 series?

Welcome to TBN :welcome:

It's possible he either meant a XR3135HC or XR4140HC.
Either way it will be a great snow machine. I have a QA power angle plow and a double auger blower on mine. It moves a lot of snow and a heated cab is very nice in winter as well as A/C in summer. 80% of my tractor use is in winter. I run about 70 hours a year.

I just did a search and apparently there is an XR 3140HC. the ones I found were 2018 models so maybe LS hasn't updated the site.

The XR3140 is replacing the XR3135 same everything but more HP

I have to change the tractor I was looking at the B2650 but getting a better deal on the LS so no tractor yet

For the tractor in your profile, you can just add something like “in the market for a LS XR3140HC” so others understand you havent purchased yet. Usually you dont put the tractor in your profile until you ink the deal :)

Have you demoed the machine yet? Sat in it, driven, actuated FEL, HST, worked through controls, etc? If not, you will want to before any tractor investment. Just be sure it works for you.

I was looking at LS tractors before I made my purchase, nice tractors, 2 of my buddies have them with no issues so far. I don't think the 3140 is replacing the 3135, it is just not found as much. The local LS dealer here won't sell them because he said it's hard to upsell the extra 5HP for an extra $1500 so he sticks with the 3135's. You also get more PTO horsepower. I found a couple places that said the 3140 has a beefed up front axle, but this LS dealer didn't know anything about it. He sells his XR3135 HC for 27,500 so the 3140 would have been 29000.
