Opinions on the Kubota L5030? 2nd try at posting..

What are your "tractor expert" opinions on the Kubota L5030 with loader?

I've got it's baby brother (L4330 - LA853). LOVE IT!

Same here. 4330, 863 loader, GST transmission.

One of the interesting diffferences between it and every other diesel I've had is when its running inside the barn, you can't really smell it.

Another thing is the loader comes off and on so fast, there is no reason to bush hog with it on. More maneuverable and less "collateral damage".

Also that loader moves up and down fairly fast at idle speed. You don't need to rev up the engine.

JMC, isn't that the truth. The L3830 I have I have seems to burn so clean that running it in the shop is a non issue. My neighbor has a JD 790 that stinks at start up to shut down. I use it frequently because he has always got at least one of my implements attached. It works out well. Right now he has the post hole digger on and I tell him to keep it on since it's such a pain to put on. The cylce times on the LA 723 and LA 853 are second to none. Quick, strong and sturdy. The L5030 has basically the same diesel as my L48 had. My L3830 has the same engine as the L5030 less one cylinder. I still say the Kubota HST is second to none. Other then bigger tires and engine, the L5030 is very similar to the L4630 and L4330.
