Opinions, experience with B7100 circa 1970's? There is a 1000 hr unit for sale near me. Thinking of it as a second unit just for maybe snow plowing (as a plow in front now) and to attach a box blade (have one) and/or york rake (to be obtained), so I can just leave the BH on the B21. The B7100 is a gear unit and the B21 is hydrostatic, but I'm pretty sure, even at my stage, I can deal with that. Maybe.

I had an earlier b6000E. The old kubotas are indestructible. Just check on parts availability.

I own 1995 B7100HST for 14 years and it never let me down (y) just wish it had power steering.

I have a 1979 B7100 with 700 hours on it, purchased used. Like was said above, almost indestructible. Parts are mostly available, Messicks and ebay are good resources. Kubota dealers generally don't like or want to help much looking for parts for some reason. You will have problems running a snow blower hydraulically. That little pump only puts out a little over 3gpm. My SB runs off of the front pto but those units are getting hard to find.
