Operator's Manual CD

When I bought my tractor I received a CD with the owners manual on it as well as an interactive program to help with info on the tractor. My computer will not run this interactive program. The only thing I can figure out is that the Cd states it's compatible with Windos 98 through XP. Has anyone been able to get this to work on Windows 7 or is there a more updated version of the software?

While I know NOTHING about Windows 7, you need a pdf reader, like Adobe reader, to read the files. If Windows 7 is not compatable, it may be that it is not compatable with the auto start feature on the Mahindra disk. Once you get the reader, you should be able to read the files on the disk manually. Her is the link for the reader...if you don't already have it...

I have the latest version of Adobe reader. My Windows 7 auto started the disc just fine. I can open the adobe file that is the manual, just not the interactive program with it.

I was a machine language programmer, back when we coded everything by hand. If you had a memory that could store 256 bytes, thats what you worked with. Then came DOS, Winders.. what was it.. something, then Winders 3.1, then 98, then 98SE, then... etc.. I still have lots of hair on my head... I don't know why... should all be torn out by now...
