Operating a Kubota KX41-3V

Hi all,

Hope this dosn't seem like a dumb question.

I've got to do a bit of trenching so am going to hire a mini-excavator for a day and the machine they have for rent is a Kubota KX41-3V.

Although I have a FEL on my Kubota B7800 I have never used an excavator before of any kind. To get the most use out of the machine for the time I have it I would therefore like to at least undertsand the controls before it arrives. Does anyone know of an online operator guide (I can't find one) or know briefly what the controls would be on this machine?

It isn't difficult to operate a KX41. It will take you 15-30 minutes to start being productive if simple digging/trenching is what you want to do. More complex stuff i.e. slope work, close quarters, stradling trenchs etc. will come with experience.
