Online Parts sales.

I prefer travelling to my dealer, but working long hours and the fact that my dealer is an hour drive.. I'd love to be able to buy some routine Kubota stuff online.

I found a site at http://www.kubotastore.com/. They seem to have quite a bit of good stuff. But.. I don't like the Paypal thing. I have a paypal account.. and paypal itself says to never log on with your name and password on a secondary site. I guess some bogus sales outfit could set up such a thing to steal logon and password. Not sure why this kubotastore.com has such a setup, I'm sure they are a reputable dealer.. but it scares me to put an account name and password for paypal into someone else's site.

anyway.

does anyone out there buy kubota stuff online and if so.. can you recommend a site?

I "think" Kubota Store is a paid advertiser here on TBN. If you don't like how they operate, try TractorSmart

Actually, I went back on their site and noticed that when you do go to the final "payment" screen it is a genuine paypal site. The URL is some derivation of paypal.com. And, as I said in the original post.. kubotastore looks to be quite legit. Sooo. I guess I'll give it a try!

I'm careful because there are so many "paypal" like ripoffs these days.. I get 5 to 10 rip-off spam messages a week asking me to log onto a site because of a "problem" with my paypal account.

I use it almost exclusively for ebay.. and usually stick to paying for online purchases by secure-site credit card payment.

Like was said, Tractorsmart is a genuine store with excellent services and prices. Most parts take but a few days. You save sales tax as well.
They also will allow you to download various BX parts manuals that really make service a breeze...a picture is worth a thousand words!
I use these guys for most everything and have yet to be disappointed.

Yes, they're a TBN sponsor and a legit operation. I've known the dealership that runs KubotaStore.com for several years.

I've had great service from Tractorsmart, too. When I first got my used B8200, we had a blizzard (I think the term is appropriate) that left our 1/4 mile of lane totally blocked with 3' of snow. I ordered some needed filters, etc., and UPS left them out at the public end of the lane, which was accessible. Thanks to UPS tracking numbers, I knew when to hike out to retrieve the stuff. Back to the shop, install the parts, and out to plow! Worked for me.
