Actually, I had some beautiful tulips planted there as well but the last two years the deer have eaten them as the come up /w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif. Still leaving the ones around the house in tact though!
The deer aren't even out here today to eat the tulips it's so nasty, with a 40MPH wind and 40 deg temp. Thomas's dog is probably where I was - in front of the fire.
I won't have my camera for another week, so I can't show the 3-4" of snow we got last night. But, I still wouldn't trade living in rural northern Michigan with its long winters for the city life, no matter how nice the weather is down state./w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
Bill,
I agree. The wife and I are starting negotiations on that very matter. We're contemplating northwestern Tennessee. A much milder climate where the winters are short and sweet.
I still like to have some of the white stuff around during the holidays, but after that I would be glad to see it go./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
These two seasons (winter and then July) are starting to take their toll./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
