Kubota M7040
See the attached photo.

Ran this through the front tire on my 4wd M7040 while mowing CRP ground today. Had no choice but to pull it out and watch the tire go flat. Of course I was a good distance from the barn and road. I had to roll the tire up and down a hill to get it to my truck. It was heavier than I thought.

I had heard of this happening to others but this was my first.

I guess the deer are getting back at me for shooting them in my younger days.

Yep, it's not uncommon in Missouri. And I agree with how hard they roll. A flat tire is wayyyyy harder to roll than one inflated!! :(

Nice buck too. Around here we find shed antlers from time to time but usually by this time of year the rats, mice and squirells have gnawed them down to nubs.

How did you repair the tire? Do you have tubes?

The tire has a tube. They patched the tire and the tube. They charged me $23.75. Seemed like a good deal.

I was back up and mowing this afternoon.

I was trying to spot more antlers but what are the odds of hitting another one in the same field. ;)

Later.

Only question I have Dusty is - is he still runnin'?

As far as I know, he hasn't been shot yet. Haven't heard any hunters this year. They all must have moved on to greener pastures.. Dusty
